I would block them

Contacted an uncle trying to reach my mother who lives in an assisted living facility. They left this number and gave a company name of JAA. Said it had something to do with "litigation" regarding her house, which has been paid off for decades. Sounded very, very scammy.

Also got a call from this number. Said the company was JAA, regarding non-delivery of certified documents. NOBODY calls to see about receipt of certified documents. Whatever has been sent out certified has also been sent out via regular mail. Courts assume receipt of regular mail in the absence of signature for certified mail. Needless to say, didn't return the call.
