credit collection call from company listed on rip-of reports.  Called an 80 year old and frightened them enough to pay 50 per month until she told me, her daughter.  She will not pay any more as she has not had a credit card for over 30 years.

I keep getting a phone call to call this number.  They say it is urgent and hat I need to call.  They never tell me what it is in reference to or any information about the call.  I feel if it is that important they will send me a letter or tell me on the call what it is in reference to.  I just want them to stop calling me.

I was paying $60 a month to merchants credit guide for a while.  I quit getting bills so I quit paying.  I am now getting messages on my answering machine to call a number that it is urgent.  I feel if it is that urgent they would send me a certified letter or something but they never even say who they are.  In trying to research the number to see who they are I came across your letter.  Is this place really a rip off place.  When I was paying them I was under the impression I was paying a past debt from a credit card I had with my ex-husband.  I have received a new credit card with no problems so it really makes me wonder if things were that bad how that would be possible.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks.
