OMG........I HAD LIKE TWO OF THOSE EXACT SAME EMAILS...I tried to respond to on of them b/c "nancy" asked me to contact her..but there was no number or return email for me to respond with the exception of what was sent to me and that was a constant failure notice. so i looked up the name and company and THIS IS WHAT I FOUND??? explain if anyone can...how exactly is this a scam and if so, how do i protect myself??

I received the following email, and have included my reply to the so called HR assistant.

Ms Larson,

No company I have worked for in the past 20+ years has ever asked such a thing. I have researched your 'company' online and found some very interesting things listed under 'scammers' and 'fraud' and 'phishing'. I will be sending this on to the New York State Attorney General's office for review and response, as well as the Better Buisness Bureau. This kind of thing... considering you are targeting those looking for work... is foolish. Those seeking work do not normally have 'good enough' credit scores for you to highjack their identities for your own purposes. For you to think they do is an indication you must not be bright enough to get an honest job yourself.

What is with Craigslist????   This is the third scam I have gotten from job postings on Craigslist -- and that is in one day's time...

OMG!!! I received the EXACT SAME email from her!!!  YOUR posting on here saved me - THANK YOU!!

Just got this same exact message today only this scammers name is Amy Dake. Thank you so much for posting this.
