Yes, four phone calls today to call this number because my Icloud account has been compromised, but my telephone says the call came from 515-414-5821. Thank you.

A co-worker got two calls this morning.
"Just now I received two successive home land line phone messages --
automated messages that there is a breach in my iCloud account, and I
should not use any Apple devices before calling 888-251-3172."

DEFINITELY a scam. Apple would never call you and tell you NOT to use your iCloud account. If your account was breached you would go to it and make sure you can log in. But this is just phishing to get you to call and give them $$ to "fix" your account.

Do not call them back!!

Same msg from 515 414 8821 OVER and over on my land line- they have called more than 5 times!

I got 10 calls today saying to call this number about my Apple devices which have been compromised the calls came from 5154148821 and all went to my voice mail when I didn't answer

Called us 10 times in 2 days saying our I had been hacked. We have no I anything.

7 calls left on landline from 515-414-8821 saying to call 888-251-3172 saying my Apple devices are compromised and my cloud account has a security breach and to call before using devices. Robot calling herself Molly!

Same messages regarding icloud as others have reported. The number that called me was 563-316-6301 in Muscatine, IA

Called at 7:10 a.m. my time. Said my icloud account had a security breach and to call 888-251-3172.  The originating number was 666-316-6301 from Milwaukie, IA.

THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM CALL. I GOT THAT INFORMATION JUST NOW WHEN I CONTACTED APPLE SECURITY DIRECTLY.

i got two message this morning, one at 8am and a second at 9am, both originating from phone number 563-316-6301 in Muscatine, Ia and both telling me my iCloud account was breached and to contact Apple at 888-251-3172. After looking up the toll free number and finding this site, I decided to contact Apple Security directly. The agent I spoke with confirmed my account has NOT been breached and advised me they have been receiving calls from users this morning about this scam.

This is the 4th call this morning.  It starts out as a Robo call warning
me my ID is compromised on the Apple Cloud and requires immediate
attention (or something like that).  The recording says dial "1" for tech
support.  This I have done now 3 times and I get forwarded to an Indian
sounding person, this last one spoke poor English, badly mis
pronounced my name but they had it spelled correctly.  They clearly
don't know what scam has brought me into their call center (background
noise) and when I say it has to do with my "Apple Cloud ID" they say
"Yes, it has been compromised."  I ask them what my ID was and the
respond by "Don't I know it?" and gave my name which I responded
that was my name but not my ID.  They hung-up.   Hence I have never
told them to stop calling.
Some things they say:
"call 888 251-3172 for assistance"
"Premium Tech support."
"ID has been used overseas"
"Molly, I cloud support"
I have no Apple or cloud ID of any kind.

Called me 6 times today, leaving a robo message to call 888-251-3172.  Instead, I called the source number, 563-316-6301 in Muscadine, Iowa.  Asked why they were calling me.  Indian-sounding gentleman told me it was in regard to my iPhone.  Asked which number.  He replied 543-388-9294.  Ok, I said, what is the name on that line?  He replied, "You don't know your own name?".  I told him that I do not own an iPhone, and that number is one I have never heard of (in fact, 543 is an area code in Muritius ).  I told him to quit calling...  Total scam!

I've been called about 6 times today with this number listed as the call-back number in the message. The call actually originated from 563-316-6301, as others have mentioned. The message is an automated voice saying basically "there has been a breach in your iCloud account, call this number." I've let most of these go to voicemail. One time I pushed "1", as instructed, to speak with a rep. I was put in touch with a man speaking with a strong Indian-sounding accent named "Mark." He asked me if my name was AJ and, playing along for awhile, I said yes. He also asked if I had an iCloud account and Apple devices, which I do. He then asked if I have a computer or a laptop, to which I lied and told him that I do not. He then told me that I need to go to an Apple Store and then hung up on me. Clearly a scam!
