Telemarketing call from some outfit called Comodo trying to get us to sell their "security" products.  Caller was a total [***] talking a mile a minute for quite some time.  When I asked to be put on their DNC list, he got all nasty with me saying "I don't have time for this [***]" and hung up on me.  Classy isn't it.

I searched for this number, as I didn't remember what the number was.  Comodo is a fairly large Certificate Authority, in the same business as Verisign, GeoTrust, etc.  

In my case, I was validating a certificate I bought from them so they could attest to our sites being safe.  I'd highly recommend NOT blocking this number.  If they are trying to get you to resell their stuff, I'd be surprised unless you are a domain registry or resell to resellers, in which case, they would know exactly who they were calling, unless it was an accident and they called you thinking you were a different company.

If you block the number, and don't think it matters, go to all your browsers and delete their CA certificate, and you will soon learn how many sites, including many bank sites, will no longer work.

an Automessage sent twice to the general phone line of my workplace. If Comodo calls with a live human, I'll be able to send them to the right person, but 2 bot-calls in a matter of 4 mins will get you nowhere
