Just got a call from this number. An automated voice told us that we had "outstanding" debts. But every time I try to call them, I get an "all circuits are busy" message. Further researched showed that this is Afni collections.

Got called from this number and it was automated asking if John Davit was at this number if so to hit a certain number if not hit anopther number. This is my X husband they asked for {over 3 years divorced}. Then when I hit the number for not at this phone number it said , sorry and hung up . They said AFNI calling when I answered the phone. What is this all about I really do not gt it . ?

"Not provided" on caller ID.  I never answer until I check it out.  First call today.

Got call on my cell. When I answered pre-recorded message was already playing and it said press 1 for representative and I did not having heard who was calling. About 30 seconds later a person was going to come on the line (I could hear noises then clearing of the throat) but when I angyly said HELLO! the quickly hung up.

I got a call from this number today and it recorded on my machine please press pound to hear this message again. I called the number and it says important message for my husband and press 1 if it is him did not want to because I dont know what it is... Tee DDDD meeee offf! does not give me a company name or anything caller id said unavailable.

I called Trace this number! I have reported them to the local phone co! I will report them immediately to the phone co! I also called the number and got some stupid message that does not have any business calling me! I will not answer the phone until I know the number and the jerks behind it! They call again I will keep telling the phone co about this harassment 1

They have called 4 times, every time I call back they say the call is for someone else and to press 4 if he does not live at the address. Every time I press 4, they say sorry and hang up. You would think they would realize that the person they're calling for is not me! I could see accidentally calling me once, but this was the 4th time!

Received unknown 800 number.....I did not answer and no message.

I have gotten tons of calls from this number.  I have called back and hit 5 for the person they are trying to reach does not live here.  I also filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.  None of this does any good.

have received at least 6 calls from this number. all have the same as the other blogs. only number listed with a message to press a number if you are, are not or do not live here options.
extremely harrassed from early morning to late at night. something needs to be done to stop this.

Got a call from this number asking for a garbled version of my name. I called back and spoke to a young lady who said I had a cellphone bill from 2005 (!).  She asked me for my social security which I refused to give her, then she said she had my name wrong. (I told her I had closed out the account she was referring to years ago).  What kind of sham is this and who should it be reported to?

You call me again three hours later! But I am not going to call trace your number again! Just letting u know that I just complete an Irish jig being St. Pat's Day cause I did not answer the phone! And let me tell I don't answer the phone until you hang up and then I get star 69 your number and then I may call trace it too! I love myself alot ashle!

Reply to the Federal Trade Commission. I'm having the same trouble with this number. Annoying, I know. Hope it works out.

I have been getting calls from this # for months, looking for someone else. Tired of telling them they aren't and never have been here. Now I lift the phone and hangup immediately.

I get this call anywhere from 1-3 times per day.

This company has called my home everyday and night for the past week. a pre recorded message comes on asking me to press # to speek with a rep. As soon as I hit # the phone call gets cut off. When I call back the number 1-888-276-1908 it ask's me to eter the number from where the call was placed. When I do guess what..... It hangs up on me again. I am pretty sure that this is some sort of harassment. I am now calling Verizon to place a block on this number. Something needs to be done about this company. If they truly need to get a hold of me, then get someone on the phone. IDIOTS!

I have gotten a call from this number (or wanting me to return the call to 1-888-276-1908) for the past 3 days. The caller ID came up the first time private name and number and now it comes up toll free with the number being 1-800-598-9331. I have tried to return to call several times because the message says they are a debt collector (and I do not owe any debt that I know of, so I am concerned). The company name is Afni and when I look them up on the web there is very little information on their website. So now I am annoyed and would like them to stop calling.

They call me every other day about my brother, who does not and has never lived with me.  I have called back to opt out ("press 2") and still receive calls.  When I try to call to speak with someone to tell them to go away, I never get a live person.  At what point does this stop?
