Got a letter in the mail supposedly from "microsoft" claiming that I have won a free epad. This is the number that is listed for me to call to claim my supposed prize. SCAM.

Just wondering, are you in the Daytona beach Florida area? They seem to have a shop there.

Actually it's not a scam. It's one of those things that you have to go and listen to people talk for 90 minutes, and in return, they give you a laptop or a tablet. I know because I did it. Granted, you are not going to get the most high end, top of the line computers, but you still get one.

we are seasonal in the daytona beach area.  we rec'd this promotion (fwd via usps) to our northerern address.   appears to be a scam.... we did not call this no. (1-888-276-4011) since it's certainly more than the 72 hr. respond time required.   just wondering if anyone else did.

From the information given by the other posters it seems to be those super hard sell time share crap or similar. While it isn't a scam I bet they'll make you feel like [***] afterwards if you don't end up buying whatever they are trying to sell. But if you do buy what they are selling its guaranteed to be a rip off.
