Incoming call with computer-driven message.  It asks for the recipient by name and confirmation that if you are the intended recipient, press a specified key and I expect the recipient will be connected to an operator.  I suspect a collection call.

I just got the same call. 12.17.07 at 7 pm. I got directed to an opererator that could not hear me. Said something of being charged or a collection fee...

calls and never leaves messages.  i dont pick up these calls anymore unless i recognize the number.  if it's a legit company calling, like a credit card company that calls me to report suspicious activity on my account, they will leave a message.  these companies use reverse telemarkting techniques by patching thru only the callers that answer and wait on the other line.  if you have a legit debt collection, you will have received an official letter from them or an attorney's office.  if you dont recognize the number -- dont answer the phone, it's as simple as that

i have called the number in question and it is a collection company based ot of denver, co named national account adjusters (naa).  look them up, their on the net.
