I received an e-mail about a marketing Cd which I signed up for. Now they billed me for 59.95. This is a complete scam. I'm reversing the charges.

I have been getting credit card charges from Real Estate Resourses, 2.95 to start with then 59.95. I have contacted the credit union to have these charges stopped. this began after I had signed up for taking paid surveys on the internet. I called the number (888-276-8163) to talk to them directly, I get put on hold until a representitive is available. I have not been able to talk to anybody at this number. I did not receive any phone call, this is from the internet..This is a rip off and you need to beware.

Same here.  I feel like an idiot.  I should have known better than to give a debit card # out for a ridiculous 2.95 offer.  I called, dude was a [***] said he'd credit my account and cancel my membership.  He also was sending a confirmation email of the cancellation and credit and of course there's nothing in my Inbox stating this.  I called again, on this horrific classical music hold for 38 mins and then speak to a woman, nice, and she said the notes confirmed this.  Well today, almost 10 days later, no credit and now nobody answers the phone after 40 mins of music.  I'll just cancel the card and chalk up my losses over this.  However, I will be contacting MO Atty General office to complain-like anything will happen!  Whatever.  Happy holidays!

I thought I was dealing with e-Bay when I ordered a $2.95 CD on how to sell on e-Bay.  A week or so passed and I received 2 phone calls from a man who left messages to call him on how to get going on e-Bay.  I did not return the calls because I had not received the CD.  Over a month passed and no CD.  Today I accidentally noted a suspicious charge on my bank account for $59.95.  I called the bank and found it was a charge by REAL ESTATE RESOURCES, apparently of Wellington, England.  I called the infamous 888-276-8163 number and talked to a very nice person who said her name was Jessica.  I said there company was a scam.  She denied it and said she would have the charge removed from my account within 2-3 business days and send me the CD. The $59.95 was a monthly charge for "Grant Money" information that was a part of the $2.95 CD deal.  Even though my bank had not yet paid out the $59.95, they could not stop payment or do anything else until payment had been made to Real Estate Resources.  I have tried calling e-Bay at 408-558-7400 but the circuits are busy.  I will wait until next week and see if my account is credited and I will continue to pursue e-Bay to put a stop to the scams of Real Estate Resources.

Like the others that have been scammed, I thought I was ordering info for selling on Ebay and ended up with a worthless CD and 59.95 charged to my ATM card.  It has been charged monthly now.

Only get a answering machine when I call their number.
