Person said  there was an arrest warrant issued   that I would be arrested never gave any details

IGNORE the call.  The IRS mails letters first if there is a problem.   This caller is a THIEF!!

stupid message saying this is the irs investigation department calling regarding fraud on your tax return . call this number xxx-xxx-xxxx   !!!!!!!!!!!!!   irs send you letters guys if there are any problems with your taxes .

Same as others, robo voice telling me I'm hiding something from the federal government and that a warrant has been issued for my arrest.  Yes, it's true, the IRS will send you a letter before doing anything else, and they don't call, they show up or send someone to your door.

Claims to be from the IRS, said I filed a fraudulent claim with the IRS. Funny thing is, I'm a teenager and have never filed any tax return, nor do I have any source of income.

I just received the same exact call. I didn't answer so they left a VM stating they were from the IRS and there's an arrest warrant blah blah. I deleted it. I haven't received any letters from the IRS, and my taxes are always spot on, so these scammers are obviously failing pretty hard.

I just received the same call, so I called back the number and a call center rep answered and hung up...

Some guy calling from IRS fraud department. They really need to higher someone with better customer service skills instead of yelling at me when I didn't verify it was me. Apparently I had a problem that I couldn't do one simple thing which was to varify my name and that I should hang up if I thought I wasn't talking to a federal agent lol. These scammers are so rude.

Got a call from this number. IRS related. Clearly bogus. Simply deleted the voicemail.

I just received the same call. VM left, called it. They said they are the IRS criminal investigation department. Advised the man, I have had this call before about 2 years ago. He said, an officer was coming to my house to arrest me. Advised the guy, I have been doing my own taxes for 10 years. So bring it on!! Then ended the call. They are trying once again. Sounds like the same guy!!

Just got the call. Did not pick up. Here's the text of  VM I received "    Time sensitive and urgent as after audit we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax filing which you are hiding from the Federal government. This needs to be rectified immediately. So do return the call on our direct line number. The number is 888-276-9705. Again 888-276-9705. Thank you.

IRS fraud, blah, blah, blah... LIES!! The only reason I answered the call was because I was wearing a BlueTooth, and in a different space than my actual cellphone was in. I couldn't see who the call was coming from. Typically don't even answer calls from numbers I don't know. I hate scammers. #SPAM #BLOCKED
