Clair Thompson left a message for my son that hasn't lived here for over 15 years about a 1040 from Feb 20. Called son who said it must be a fake call of some type, so I goggled the name and phone number and found this site.

Called re:  recent state tax matter, but didn't state which co. they are calling from.
Requested return call to:  888-283-6541 x408

This company is connected to a network of tax scam artists who do nothing but try to collect from old unverified debts.
Immediately report them to the FCC at 888-225-5322. Shut these scammers down!
BTW, there are shills from this company among the responses here. Use your common sense, nobody will post anything positive about these POS, they are pure scammers.

Do not hire them.  Call Tax defense network.  I got a call from these people and I've been scammed badly and that is why I owe taxes but I have the FBI involved and Tax defense has done great job.

Realizing people are just doing their job, it would be greatly appreciated if Larry Wallace would not divulge private information concerning a business matter to whom ever is on the other end of the phone.  It would be much better if he would just say that it was a personal matter, instead of this is between xxx company and the IRS.  We will not do business with any company that divulges any information to someone other than the owner of the company or his/her representative.  Very disappointed -
