Told me I owe on a back credit card and they was taking me court for it to garnish my check.

Tell them to prove it - in writing - per the FDCPA.  Threatening to garnish your wages is illegal, btw.  Sounds like another debt scamming outfit.

Same thing just happened with my husband just now. This guy called and demanding payment for a credit card debt RIGHT NOW or He will take him to court.  My husband asked them to send a bill and he will check what that was, and he said he is giving this 1 time chance ONLY!  So of course, my husband just said, take me to court then!  Well see who goes to Jail :)  I researched this number and found this sight...

They left a long message about some documents with a case number. When I called back I asked who they were and was told they are just a service and would not give more than that. Gave them the GA number. He gave me a different name than was on the message for me. When I told him only last name was right he asked for my name. I ended call.

Got same number calling me telling me I owe debt back from 2007 and that they are referring me to a legal service to get served for wage garnishments. I never even had an account with Household Bank, they wouldnt give me any additional account  information and just said check my credit report and that someone would serve me soon.. Serve me on a 9 year old debt ? Thing called statute of limitations. No your rights people!

I got a phone call from a private caller yesterday (6/9/16) and they left me a message with this number as a callback number. They said they have time sensitive documents at their office for a family member of mine to sign and that it was urgent. Didn't give me details about who they were. They knew my family member's full name, address, place of employment, and phone number. My family member doEs not recall giving anyone that kind of information about himself nor does he recall giving someone my full name and phone number for any reason as we are not that close. Very strange... These people are just something else!

This number has called my father & sister stating they are trying to serve a complaint. They leave very alarming messages, that make you think your in legal trouble & going to be arrested, with a reference number & Extention. When my father called them back they stated they are a private agency that delivers legal paperwork & they needed my address & phone number asap.Today they called my sister & asked her for my information, once she said no & asked them how they got her information, they hung up! Obviously they do not know me but they know several of my family members names & phone numbers! It's scary! What can I do to get these people to leave me alone?!
