Got a call from (888) 286-5527 today. It was the same call I've had from a different number. A week ago. They left a voicemail asking for my whereabouts in a robot voice and had an automated reading of my name. No identity given, just said they were filing a complaint with the local county court. Which is fine by me. I have received multiple calls about a payday loan, which I have never received. And I have i feeling I am on a call list. I have talked to my friends and family about it. And everyone agrees it must be a scam. If I must appear in court, I will. However I will refuse to pay back money that I know for a fact I have never received. I have not received a bill in the mail. Or anything suggesting I owe money to anyone. Therefore, I cannot justify a call back to this number. If the caller had introduced himself, and given more detail about this "complaint" I might be able to justify a callback. I would not suggest anyone panics about this caller. And simply report the number if you receive a call.

I just received an auto message saying a formal complaint against a person who must have had this number has been filed. It is annoying.

I received múltiple calle from this number asking información about me.

So everyone caught on when they were calling from 855-201-1737 and now they are calling from 888-286-5527. Police needs to get these people for harassment of the public. Buch of [***] scammers, get a real job like the rest of us.  No one has time for you to call us or our acquaintances for your SCAMS!!!

They call every day asking for my son-in-law.  How did they get my phone number, very annoying!

Same call over and over.  I do not know the person they claim to be looking for.  With a common name they need to take their foolishness elsewhere.  I did hold on and told them to remove my number.  Probably will not help but worth a try.  This number was 888-286-5527 however others have come from 855-201-1864 three times.  Deep firm male voice trying to scare the receiver of the call.

Have received several calls from this number. Low deep voice, almost like they are using some thing to make it sound so low.Left voice mail message. Looking for a family member who lives OUT of STATE, caller claims it is a complaint coming from local county court. HA! I'm actually looking forward to them calling back so I can rip them up! These calls from these low lifes are ridiculous!

I want this scam call to STOP!!!!

They've called my family and me many times over the past months, asking for my whereabouts. Finally yesterday I was able to speak to a human. She told me I needed to pay $1000 for an outstanding payday loan or they would serve me papers to appear. I repeatedly asked her to send me something in writing and she told me she could not because it has already been sent (I moved from the state with the alleged debt 8 years ago). I offered to give her my present address so she could mail me the information - she was not interested. She said I had til the end of the day to pay or be sent to court. Reading all these other complaints makes me more assured that it is a scam.

I got this same call- scary male voice asking about my whereabouts (said MY name!) and they have called my sister too asking my whereabouts.
so frustrating. Wish they would stop!

I have my business line forwarded to my cell to allow me to block these annoying calls. Barely 7am, I don't answer the number I don't recognize and no message is left. I call the number back and s very mid eastern man answers" technical dept, Ray Speaking" technical adept of what?j wish there was a button to select that would send them an electric shock! Predator!
