Keep getting calls from this number when I answer no one is there it just hangs up. Thought i would come her to find who it is!

greenbusiness.net - an "eco-friendly" telemarketing phone call with severely accented english.  "Let me ask you about some eco-friendly policies for your listing."  sound like Apu from The Simpsons (hello and welcome to quicki-mart, how may i help you today).  another number to place on the DNC (donotcall.gov) listing.

Someone with accent muttering about search engine listings until i hung up on the moron. I'm on do not call, it doesn't seem to make any difference.

said my husband told him to call me. found out he got my home number from some old (15yrs ago) website and my husband gave him this one. As soon as I answered there was no one there.  They also call from 281-441-9245.  Several times a day even though we are on the do not call list and have told them to take us off their list.

They called again and I picked up the phone and I talked to a guy with an accent and I yelled at him for them to stop calling me! He was trying to verify that my info was correct, and I said I haven't gone anywhere so whatever they have for me is correct. He said they call every year and if I didn't confirm my info they would keep calling.

I have received at least two calls from this number, I'm glad never picked up the phone.  However this is real bothersome!!!.

This number called today and I tried to call it back but the call would not go through, no message or anything but it just did not go through.

As others' comments, the woman's English was terrible.  She started right away asking questions about my business. I stopped her and said I don't answer such questions from unknown callers.  After hanging up, I tried to call the number...no ring, no sound of any kind for about 45 seconds, then a fast busy signal.  Phony company! Phony reason for calling! Apparently, they're in some foreign country trying to get information so they can steal from people!

Got the call from a woman with very poor English. She kept saying my old address and I could not understand the rest.

The address had been outdated for 15 years, at least.

Repeated calls from this number regarding an unwanted "free online listing" and the agent is becoming insistant and a nuisance.

Person talking very poor english. When I asked what they said I was hung up on.Third day in a row for this BS.When I redial the number there is no one there. This is very annoying.

Foreign woman asked if i was a business...Then asked if I was residential and when I answered she hung up!  You cannot callback.

Somebody wants to post your business listing on a "green" site of some kind.  Some info is requested plus address then transferred to a QC perosn who then asks a whole lot more.  Then he speaks so fast you can't understand anything.  All you hear in the background are several people all talking at once.  I finally hung up, glad I did.

I keep getting calls from this number at least once a day for the past few weeks. I've been letting my answer machine screen them but finally got tired of them calling so answered it today. The Hindu on the other end claimed to be from a search engine and wanted to know if I still lived at a certain address. I advised them it was none of their business and not to call again and they hung up.

The worst part is when I called the operator to complain I was connected to a recording twice telling me how to dial a toll free number. They finally routed me to customer service and they tried to sell me Call Blocking. When I asked to speak to their supervisor they stated there was not one on duty.

AT@T is worthless and so is the Do Not Call list.

Our office receives calls from this number every single day.  They always call right after lunch ... between 1:15 and 1:30.  When I answer no one is there, and when I call back it disconnects.  Who keeps doing this?
