I just got a call on my house phone. Some weird guy left a message saying call me at this number but he added a 9 on the end. Didn't say where he was from.

They're calling from IMUSA, it's a medical research company. They are offering a power wheelchair through Medicare. Take care with this people, i think it's a fraud.

The IMUSA representatives are calling out because they would like to help people who are having a hard time walking and if they qualify the imusa would provide a power wheelchair for them at no cost. They are concerned people. Don't get them wrong. That's  why they are asking questions so that they would know if you would qualify.

I have received 4 calls from persons allegedly representing IMUSA     The first calls came from an extremely rude and crude male from a telemarket #888 866-5560.     He knew my name and insisted that I needed a free motorized wheelchair.     When I told him I didnt need it and asked him how he got my name he became very verbally abusive.     Called me an "old hag "   I hung up and he called back.    My friend answered the phone and He said "tell her she is and old hag and I hope she disinegrates"   Since that time I have received 2 more calls     One from the number listed above and one from  888 296 1526.   The callers were polite but I hope I do not receive anymore calls from IMUSA

Got a Call from IMUSA Health Network. The man's name is Samuel (Sam) Banks telling me that they would come fix my wheelchair. Asking me for my Medicare number.

This post is obviously from a scammer with IMUSA.  The disgusting scum who are willing to do this call repeatedly early am until late and on weekends from various phones, including [831]603 0250 located in Aptos, CA. claiming they are Medicare affiliated and offering a back brace or other equipment paid by Medicare.  To say they are offensive and rude is an understatement.  Requests to discontinue calling are answered by threats to continue harassment for a year.  [831]603 0250 is answered on weekends as IMUSA HEALTH NETWORK by a recorded message.  I have registered my phone with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY [888] 382 1222, but have to wait 30 days for it to become effective.

This company has all your information about YOU when you call. That's what's scary about this situation!! They will only call elderly patients that have a Medicare ID#. They claim they have your information through Medicare and will even verify all YOUR information back to you. They claim that a back brace has been ordered for you by your doctor and they claim they just need to verify your information and that's when they will repeat YOUR info - name, address, birthdate, Medicare ID#......then this is when it gets tricky - they want YOU to provide a doctors' name to them - "ANY DOCTOR" they say. You know why? because Medicare Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is one of the most easily fraudulent scam out there. Once they have your information and your Medicare ID# - all they need is a doctor/physicians' name to bill Medicare. Medicare DME requires your ID# and a doctor's/physician's NPI provider number to bill. This is a company that obviously was able to obtain their own provider # in order to submit claims to Medicare. All companies have to have a participating Medicare provider # to become billable for durable medical equipment. All Medicare covered medical devices falls under DME - such as wheelchairs, prosthesis, eyeglasses after cataract surgery, walkers, etc....PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT RELEASE ANY INFORMATION OR ANY DOCTORS' NAMES TO THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE TRUE SCAMMERS AND SHAME ON THEM FOR TRYING TO SCAM ELDERLY PATIENT. PLEASE CALL 1(800)MEDICARE....PLEASE ALSO CHECK YOUR MEDICARE EOBs (explanation of benefits) just like you would check your credit card statements. If you see billings for providers that are not familiar to you - please report fraud to 1(800)MEDICARE. I will be report them to Medicare!!!!

I gave them my information and they sent me a back brace for my back pain, say what you want but at least i feel better from my back, money comes and goes fellas
