Same thing - fake IRS fraud call.  Blocked

Computer voice, robo call, says he/she from the IRS and they know I am hiding taxes.  Gives number, 880-296-5443, to call.  Called them to mess with them.  Man and woman with Indian accent.  I called them over and over again, tied up their time, called them every unprintable name in book.  He said "F... You" to me.  Hope I ruined his day.  Sounded like same couple who called with a different scam a couple of weeks ago.

Did not answer. Recorded message says there is fraud on my tax return that needs to be rectified and tells me to call back 888-296-5443 immediately. The type call is a SCAM which you do not have listed.  I have to leave it unknown but it is an obvious SCAM.  The IRS does not call on the phone.  But gullible people may not know this.

Anyone getting a call from this number or one very similar?

bogus call stating problem with taxes

July 22, 2016 - received scam call from 888.296.5443 - mentioned IRS - obvious scam - the IRS sends letters, not robocalls with bad grammar

Rec'd msg. Returned call they wanted to know if I was calling from same phone I rec'd msg on.  I lied and said yes. After several seconds the gal with Indian accent hung up loudly!

Computer call claiming I was fraudulent on my taxes and am withholding info from the IRS. Need to call right away to settle this matter before I end up facing charges. This comes a week after I got a call saying the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. Which one is it? lol

I got the same recording. Yeah, right!

Received same recorded message.  Have not filed with IRS for over 10 years!  Obviously a scam.  Did not comply.

I just found this message on my answering machine. I know that it's fake but tried calling back to mess with them.

Answered this call from 888-296-5443 Indian female caller calling about my Medicare!! I'm to young for Medicare!! Which also told me this number is a scammer who also from previous comments calling about the IRS!! Please find these people and stop them from the harassing phone calls to people so they loose their phone privilege's for life!! Come on FCC why do we have you when your not doing your job to stop these people scamming people especially our elderly!!!
