They Just called me, said his name was paul angelo from global assets something or another, stating that something went on linked to my yahoo email account and that if i wanted to resolve it quickly and discretely i needed to call him back today and if i didnt than he would have to go ahead accordingly....what the hell is that supposed to mean and who the hell is this and how do i get this person/company to STOP calling me???

Someone called and asked for me and I said this is her...they said they have a letter to be served to me and if I wanted this to stop then to call this number 1888 2965970 and settle it. I told them I don't have anything outstanding and I wasn't giving any info out. He said he wasn't asking for any info and just wanted to let me know I will be served in 48 hrs.....I said go ahead and serve me and I hung up. This is a scam for sure.........I didn't call the number and then I looked on here and saw other complaints......

Wanted to speak to the person in charge of credit cards.  He could hardly speak English.  Told him I didn't have a credit card.  He hung up.

I got a call about five minutes ago at my work station, he could hardly talk English, talked too fast, I asked if he had me on speaker phone and then I asked for his number, he gave me 1-888-296-5970 said his name as Joshua and asked if I could call him back.  I asked the cashier if he asked for me by name and he said, no, he asked for someone who handles payments and so he hollered at me to pick up the phone.  The caller may have heard the cashier calling me by name.  He said something about business credit cards, I did not give him any information, asked for his number and name and this is what he gave me.  We do not have business credit cards.

Just got a call from Credit and Debit Brokers from this number.  Trying to sell me on reduced rates for a credit machine and offered a 40-50% discount.  Might have sounded interesting if I didn't field calls like this on a weekly basis.

Has called me three days in a row.  I keep telling him I am not interested.  Asked to have my number removed from Caller's List.  Very persistant.

well i just called them back and asked them who looks after their credit issues and he hung up on me, the nerve, think i will keep calling them, I have nothing else to do for the next hour, i do *67 my number so hopefully they wont call me back, give them alittle of their own back, the scum

The woman on the other end of my phone wanted me to fax her a page from my credit card monthly statement that had my merchant ID on it.

COULD HARDLY UNDERSTAND THIS PERSON CALLING AND THE CONNECTION WAS NOT GOOD.  HE WANTED TO TALK TO THE OWNER BUT I WOULD NOT PUT HIM THROUGH EVEN IF HE WAS HERE.  HE WAS QUITE INDIGNANT AND WANTED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE IN THE COMPANY THAT DEALS WITH CREDIT CARDS AND DEBIT CARDS.  DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T ANSWER THIS NUMBER WHEN IT COME UP ON YOUR CALL DISPLAY

1-888-296-5970, a lady called asked for the Dr. by last name. I responded The Dr is with a p/t right now canI take a message. the lady said she would call back later when she's free. (didn't ask for a time) I asked the lady to whom was calling so I can let the Dr. know to expect your call. There was no answer just dead air for a few seconds followed by a hang up. lady had a slight asian accent spoke low in a whisper. I googled the # and found this site.

This number, 1-888-296-5970, does not stop calling my business.  (It's been a few months already)  I don't answer any calls from telemarketers or numbers not recognized or identified on my call display.  I also will never do business through a telemarketer, regardless of how good or legitimate a deal it is.  I called back using *67 and asked who they were.  The East Indian guy said they were "Merchant Brokers Group", but who knows if that's true.  I hung up and decided to put this on 800notes.

If people would just not answer or hang up on these idiots, they will stop calling as they wouldn't be getting any business.  The DNC list is a joke and punishment for those that ignore it is irrelevant, that's why they continue.

Scam!

Asked why they keep calling, asked them to stop. Apparently it's "the law of the telephone" that allows them to keep calling. Asked to speak to the manager, said he was "a manager", "no the manager" I said, hung up. We get a call 2/3 times a week.
Will try and have some fun with these guys next time.

Message left on voice mail identifying themselves as a representative from Bryant, Hodges, and Associates.  Message was vague but threatening, "I have information that you will be interested in knowing.  I strongly suggest you return my call immediately."  Searched Bryant, Hodges, and Associates, legal firm in Bangor, ME specializing in purchasing outstanding consumer debt from businesses and collections on those debts.

Merchant brokers group. They built website in 2015. Call me several times to sell me merchant services , they claim 1.2℅ per transaction and no annual or monthly fees, even free mobile reader. Total BS .... I've contacted the BBB they can't verify anything about these thugs. When I call them back no one will answer and can't leave VM.... They want SS# Tax ID # Checking acct routing # ... Dumb [***] ... I'm not an idiot. I wish those offers where legitimate but come on. I could do a better job of scamming people then these [***].
