Received a call from 813-804-1080 stating they are with US Document Services.  They were looking for my husband.  Told me to have him call 888-310-1520 and gave a reference number.  Of course, the person on the other end of the call had a very thick Indian accent.

I got same call
Called my relatives saying I owed Chase $1900 from 10 years ago in which I never had chase credit card. My big issue is they have my Social security number

3/14/24 received call from 760 264-1307 stating they were U.S. documents services. Gave reference number and said for me to call 888-310-1520. Stated couldn't say what records to authorize etc. Said her name was Bella

Called me asking for my mom, didn’t have a company name or anything. Gave a case number

Called by the same phone number asking to have some documents signed and sounded super sketchy. I wouldn't trust it at all

Got a call from “John” saying they received a complaint on my father who’s been dead for several years now. Wanted me to call 888-310-1520 to “stop theirs actions from being taken” heavy Indian accent on the voicemail

I received a call from Danville PA from a heavy indian accent, but no number telling me to call US document services at 888-310-1520 and gave me a 4 digit call reference number.  I called the number and was told I got the receptionist and then transferred me to someone else stating he was having computer issues.  The phone number I called they spoke english and said they were some J and O financial.  I called them scammers and hung up.

They call my mom asking for me . Saying they to talk to me regarding my kids….they even give her a so called case number . Scammers

Put Edwina back in da bowl. Another scam call from somewhere in India would be my first guess.......I mess with them until the cuss me and hang up

Called saying I owed $ from 19 years ago on a US Bank credit card. Totally a scam! Problem is they have my date of birth and ssn.

Was anyone told at the end of the in my case voicemail... That the message left for me was recorded and proof of notification!
His name was JACOB!  Like everyone said had an obvious accent... Although after he gave the 4 digit number... There was a a short pause and it was then I noticed a different voice!
Actually it sounded Robo caller!
Lastly a local area code called... if I don't know who it is I don't answer...then the voicemail!
After the voicemail was left a different number called again local are code.
This time I answered my phone and immediately hit mute and just waited for him to say something... Unfortunately he or whoever hung up!

Lots of people even though it is all hogwash.  I also don't think that it is that company.

The fake process server/location specialist scam usually contains:

They mention that they have received a Fax document or some sort of complaint and that there is a pending legal matter or action about to filed against you to create the sense of urgency.  They tell you that they are a “process server” and cannot give you the particulars of the case since the file is sealed. This is simply ruse to get you to call another number (often with a made-up case number) where they will ask for money to “make it go away” (this is actually the same place, they work in teams, one pretending to be the server, and the other usually pretends to be a lawyer).  They threaten to serve you at home or at work.  They tell you that if they serve you at work they need a supervisor, security, or HR person there as a witness, hoping that will cause you to panic over the alleged embarrassment of being served at work.  They also tell you that you will need two forms of ID.  None of which is true.  Process servers do not ever call ahead so that you can dodge them.  Process servers get paid to serve papers, nothing else.  They certainly are not going to pass up a paycheck by telling you that you can avoid being served, they are not going to give you an extra day or even a few hours to get a “stop order”.  Court documents are time sensitive and have to be served within a certain amount of time.  Remember that you can always call the local courthouse to see if there is actually a lawsuit that has been filed against you.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter, email, or text (postmarked in the case of a letter) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. Unless they have communicated it to you verbally at the beginning of your conversation. It also must contain the “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this communication must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that communication you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

I got a voicemail saying (transcription):

“ This is Bella calling to follow up with a complaint received in our office for . The reference case number is 7 6 5 2 again the reference case number is 7 6 5 2. Documents regarding your file are being prepared to be sent out you will need to be available to sign for the delivery. The issuing agent will dispatch confirmation if they are unable to reach at home, they will attempt to reach you at your verified place of employment in order to suffer their action from being taken you will need to contact the issuing agency immediately at 8 8 8- 3 1 0- 1 5 2 0. This call has been loved, and recorded a spoof of effort being made to notify you…”

Just got the same message

They didn’t leave a company name. Just that I’m suppose to call.

Hi this is John calling to follow up with a complaint to receive in our office for ****************the reference case number is 12110 documents regarding your file are being prepared to be sent out you will need to be available to sign for the delivery the issuing agent will dispatch confirmation if they are unable to reach you at home they will attempt to reach you at your verified place of employment in order to stop for their actions from being taken you will need to contact the issuing agent immediately at 888-310-1520 this call has been logged and recorded as proof of effort being made to notify you…”

Total India Scam, threatening with complaint and documents. Wanted money wired to have them back off.

If your really worried…Go to the 3 credit agencies and freeze your credit. Best thing I ever did and it’s free.
