Computer Virus Scam - - - - - - - Laptop was closed and asleep then an audible alarm message started playing.  Had to disconnect power, reboot.  Opened Internet Explorer and got a look at it.  No way to conventionally get rid of it.  Blue Screen Of Death with a warning from Google Security about a virus with the number to call.

Once I got the problem resolved, just for grin I did call the number.  Very heavy Middle Eastern accent and from the delay and sound it did appear that the call was going oversees.

The guy said that they were not associated with Google and that for everyone,, every person, who gets a virus on their computer that they are directed to call them.  Yeah,, I find that kind of hard to believe.
