- RyanThey said it was bell asking me to do a short survey and I could win a trip for two. Seemed suspicious. Like Bell would ever give away a trip. they won't even reverse a 1.65 charge on my account.
- Caller: BELL?
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MaxThey said it was bell asking me to pay for an unpaid bill. I cancelled my contract with Bell at least a mounth an a half ago ... they were asking for $160. I was at work when I received the call... so I told them to wait until I got home and then I would call them back. So I called real Bell phone number 1-866-310-2355 and I have nothing due with them.
- Caller: not the real "Bell"

- KateThey called me about 6 times, I only answered once because they kept calling. It was a blank line. They also called my mom multiple times. She answered and it was a vacay survey (obviously a scam). I then noticed some fraud on my debit card. There were multiple hundred dollar expenses to Bell... even though I have never been associated with Bell. My bank is doing an investigation to see if the phone call is connected to the money stolen from my account.
- Caller: BELL (not actually bell)
- Call type: Silent call
- Pocstargot the same phone call. but they're asking for someone else. but they did say it was bell. they couldnt tell me what it was concerning. Scammers!

- DaveThey say it was bell. But I was at Bell retail store and just hands my phone to one of the employee.
Scammer guys - KyraThey called me six times, I finally answered it and they asked for my ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. They obviously had stolen information and didn't realize I had no connection to him on paper at this point. They said that they were Bell Canada... I started asking questions and the woman diverted the conversation and then hung up. Clearly this was a scam

- LindaI blocked area code "888" on my Panasonic cordless phone, so that solved the problem of many scam calls including this one.

- Bell CustomerI called this number thinking it was Bell Canada and was asked to participate in a promotion for people over 50. I pressed the other option for people under 50 (to not participate) and it hung up on me. I called back because I needed to discuss my Bell bill and pressed the participation option and it put me through to a live agent who stopped to ask my name but would not stop talking when I was asking if I was actually speaking to Bell Canada. I then hung up and called a differently listed tel # for Bell internet I found via Google and did get the help I was calling about. When I asked them if 310-2355 (BELL) is their advertised main line, that often comes in as an 888 number, my (actual) Bell agent said it is indeed their tel #, yes. So be aware that there is some kind of scamming agency preying on seniors about a one-day kind of promo, ghosting on Bell Canada's main tel #. Very scary.

- AngelaPlease note this might be a scam. I wrote down the number for Bell which is 1-866-310-2355 wrong and dialled 1-888-310-2355. They said right away if you are over 50 press 1, which I did. I said that I am enquiring about my phone features and the receiver was put down on me. I rang again and it went to another phone No, then another. The first 2 were Sharon with different voices. I then spoke with a human because I asked. She had an American accent. She said Bell had a special on the alert button monitor in case I fell or needed help right away. She went on and on and on in every form and fashion. I asked how much it would cost. She said around $1.99 a day.. I can't remember if the .99 was accurate. I told her I could not afford that now. She lowered the price to $ 1.60 plus. The equipment which cost $300 plus was free for this promotion. She was very persuasive and I could not understand why a Bell agent would be so persuasive and forceful. I rang about my bill not to buy anything . She told me negative things that could happen to me at anytime and I needed it. I finally told her when I am ready I will call and to have a good day. When I called back again so I could go to the next number if I was not over 55 which would have been to press 2, the number was no longer in service. I was immediately told when I tried the number again that it was no longer in service but they could direct me to another number. I then realized I wrote down 1888 instead of 1866. I then realized it was a scam because they pretended to be my phone provider. So be careful folks when you dial this number by mistake or get a call from them.
