this guy talked about serving a civil suit, wanted to know when the sheriff department could serve either at work or not. Did not confirm addresses, phone number and wouldn't tell me anything about the "case" in hand.  Just plain wierd.

This guy calls my work, speaks to a coworker as I am in a training class, and says he is serving me a summons (for???) and that I can have it delivered at home if I want (right). Leaves his name and number and no details about the "case". Sounds like someone trying to commit identity theft or is just an idiot in general.

I just received a call from a guy saying that he would like to summons one of my employees - The call seemed suspicious so I googled this number and came to this site - I called it back to act as if I wanted to cooperate, but then let them know I was troubled by the information that I googled - He was quick to say the file had been sent out for processing and he could no longer help me....Something fishy here.

The name I received on the first call was for # 714-415-5315 - MR "Ben" Davis.

received call from ACMG, I think they are litigation firm located in orange county.  They call to verify my location for summons.  Their purpose is to locate you and serve you.  Do not verify your place of employement or address.  They deal with wage garnishment.  Do not return their calls.

I had a $1500.00 credit card and they took me to court.  I didn't pay attention to it and thanks to your damn comments I was taken to court.  Luckily I was able to settle with them before judgment was rendered.

Yours and the other posts here that are either "positive" or provides a "saving grace" seem awfully suspicious. Add the fact that when we asked for a written statement on letter head and instead got a piece of paper that looks like my kids printed it from their computer; AND the fact that suddenly Western Union no longer recognizes them... it really looks bad. Come on bud, do and the other guy work for them?
