Called asking who the business representative was to procure federal government contracts. I told them I was, and asked which agency they represented and what his name was. He did not respond, I asked him again what his name was and he hung up. Our company is already a registered federal contractor, and those who are not are not prohibited from doing business with the feds (you just have to fill out paperwork). This is the third call this month from an unknown entity with the same call type.

VERY rude man!! He asked who he could speak with regarding an opportunity to work with the Federal Government locally, I thanked him and told him we weren't interested. He responded, "Thank you for what? I haven't even said anything yet!" and hung up on me. Wow.  We're in Nashville, TN.

called at 6:30 am. no one there for me to raise holy #%$$ with,

Call to my cell at 10:17 (while on conference call). Left VM "Todd Richardson from FPA(?)" left a call back number.  Sounded very busy in the background (calling from bullpen?). Will not be calling back. Am in central NC.

I called them back and it was an answering machine. that was great, because I left them a dirty message and curse them out.  you should do the same, fill their answering machine with "kind" *&^%$#@  words.

Caller - "Um, yes, who would I speak to about doing business locally with the Federal Government?"

Me: "No one, I refuse to do business with either the Federal Government or telemarketers."

I am sick of calls like this. If I wanted government work I would go out and find it myself, it isn't terribly difficult to do.
