yes, I recieved a call from  the 888-311-9924 regarding a debt owed and they were very willing to work with me to get my debt resolved.  I found them to be upright and i recieved all documents clearing me of my debt. It was reported to the Credit Bureau.

This company is illegally saying that they called from my local county clerks office.  I called my clerks office and they said clerks do not call people and that they have no info about my name on record.  I asked this company to tell me what the debt was and they would not tell me that info.  They broke laws by telling others that they were going to put civil lawsuit against me.  Under my state laws you can not disclose that type of info to anyone but the person whom has the debt.

"charles ross" - I am willing to bet you are one of the scammers with a fake post to try to make this company look legitimate.
To anyone reading this post - make sure you verify the debt with the original company before you pay these people any money - if they refuse to give you details about the debt or threaten you with arrest unless you pay them immediatly they are breaking the law and are more than likely a scam

I got a phone call from 888-311-9924 saying there is a civil lawsuit being filed against me. They called my sister's and my parent's house with the same message. Finally i googled that number and found this site with the same complaints. I will be reporting this number to the attorney general in my state.

Is it any wonder why these paid trolls come here and post spam on businesses which have an "F" rating with the BBB in a feeble attempt to defend their shady debt collection practices?

I did received a call from them, was told that a complaint will be file, I told them that only way that I would pay, was for them to provide me with my social security number and credit card number they did I called the original bank HSBC, (they provided me with the phone number), to verified the information provided by SRS and Associates from California.  I settled with this company for less than the money that I owed to HSBC.  I received a settlement letter from them stating that my account had been paid in full and I have send a copy to all credit reporting agencies.  They said that they will do the reporting but I took it upon myself to do this.

This fraud company is NOT based in Cali. It is the same NJ that you find all over the web. Don't deal with them AT ALL COST!!!! SCAMMMMMMM!!!!!

Im with you! because they called me too and say i owed them a debt, but im only 17 how can that be? I dont work and plus nothing or any bills under my name...soo funny and crazy!!

They called my cell phone showing "Unknown Number"...so many times all day every day, of course my minutes are few and so I don't answer.  Left a message from some supposedly "Legal Support Services" stating that I owed a debt of 12K+, I called the creditor and they said no balance or debt with them.  They also threatened to serve me at my home or workplace. I'm hiring an attorney to investigate and keep them from calling.

They have called my cell phone and office number which I believe is an infringement on my rights, however they left a message that they needed someone to call and let them know how to serve me.  ANY legitimate subpeona company KNOWS what to do and how to serve a legal document, it's the same all over the world basically. I called the company they said I owed and the company had no record.  So whoever has paid these people amazes me how most comments regard this as a harrassing call with no legitimacy at all.

I do have a very small debt that I thought was settled so I was shocked to get this message on my phone from Mercedes Moore at my "local county clerk's office processing division."  Says that I'll be served if I don't respond within 24 hours then gave 8883119924 ext 213 to contact them back. They gave me a case number. I was leery to call seeing as this isn't from my local area; that's when I Googled the phone number and found the truth.  I see the complaints and I'm not calling these people.  I can see on my credit report who the original creditor is and I'll be settling with them...I just don't deal with liars.

Debt collectors threatening to sue you for a debt!

My friend has received calls from 888-311-9924 ext. 220 SRS & Associates, Larry Elam out of Temecula, CA beginning 07-10.  Larry stated US Bank charged off $523.38 in 08-06.  The last statement she received from US Bank was 07-06 showing $8.00 for maintenance fee, nothing after that until these phone calls began.  No calls from US Bank, no letters from US Bank. We have called US Bank numerous times talked to recovery and collection department and they show nothing negative for my friend, as a matter of fact no record of her at all because it is so old.  But SRS & Associates is willing to settle for $300.00, Larry said the actual amount OWED is over $1500 because of late fees, etc.  All we want to know is what it is for and SRS cannot tell us.  Is this a SCAMMMMM or what?????  I told Larry what I saw on the internet yesterday and he said they have nothing to do with the company out of NJ, but yet the phone number is the same, HUMMMM????

NEVER EVER PAY A COLLECTION COMPANY? REALLY? ILL BET YOU DON'T PAY ANYTHING THEN! IF YOU GET CREDIT PAY IT OFF!!!! IT'S THAT SIMPLE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY IF YOU PAY YOUR DEBTS.

Dona Buck "Litigation Resolution Manager" has been harrassing me for about a week.  She has told me similar things for example they tried to serve me twice and could not and that if I did not call back I was going to be served at work but to avoid the embarrassment I should call back and pay the bill.  I have had a "processor" contact me from a "Private Number" and state he was a processor and was going to serve me but first I needed to call 888.311.9924 x-207 to find out the specifics.  Process servers do not call you first to tell you  you are going to get served for one and the certainly don't tell you to call another number to find out what it is about.  SCAM.  I am reporting this number to whomever takes care of credit harrassers to ensure it stops.

FTC just sued a large group of collection agencies located in the city of Corona, alleging numerous violations of debt collection laws.
