The caller said something about receiving warning signals for three days from my computer.  I hung up before hearing more details, but what's disturbing is the i.d. for the caller said "800 Service."

This number called me 4 consecutive times - the message was so full of static, I could not hear what the person was saying other than the name William Kirkpatrick, whomever that is.

Called saying they had a Microsoft server that was reporting that my machine was not safe on the internet. When pushed for specific answers to questions he shifted to letting me know that the service he was providing was at no cost to me. I hung up before he asked for a credit card number of worse.
