State they are from AT&T and have a deal for you. This is not AT&T but another company trying to sell you things.

I also received a call from this phone number claiming they are from ATT voice premier.  This is not AT&T

Call repeatedly; was happy I took a message...and then checked here.  I was unsure if they were from AT&T as they claim.  This is a spam call. ...

They were very smooth on the phone, but I noticed that the return number didn't say ATT so I was suspicious.  I called ATT and verified that my account had not been slammed.  This is a scam.

Spoke with a Erica McKenzie who called from this number. She told me that AT&T was in the process of switching over to fiber optic in our area and requested that we schedule a time for her technicians to come out to our location to complete this process. She said we would have 2 hours of downtime, that our internet speed would be upgraded to 25mg at no additional cost, and that our bill would drop from $200-$300 to $185/month. Well, we pay like $800/month, not $200-$300, so she was just spouting numbers. I told her that I would need to have my boss call her back and she gave me a different # to call: 877-228-1390.
Still not sure what they would gain from everything she told me. No mention of needing credit card #'s, personal information, nothing....This call didn't make much sense to me.

They try to slam you into agreeing to install uverse.  even after we specifically told them no that we do not have uverse & do not want it.
