i called this number beacause i keep getting harrassing phone messages from some man named edward barton saying he is going to serve me papers for a loan i never took out in 2007 i call 1-888-323-3224 and their message says huntington n they give me to a "case manager" who doesnt give much info that says i have to pay with a credit or debit card or that i will be served papers and have to go to court. they even gave me a false bank name (for the bank i was supposedly using) idk what else i shpuld do cause they wont stop calling my phones n other people i know.

I just got the same phone calls! and I have the proof that I paid the bill, they wont take copies of my bank statements or the money order receipt for proof. The "case Manager" Courtney is very rude and will not listen to anything I say. I dont what to do either.

received a call from 602-926-0698 with some guy huffing and puffing how someperson I have never heard of  needs to call 1-888-323-3224 or they would be served at their work or home. It was very unprofessional, seems to be a scam because no legit collection agency would use those tactics.

This is happening to me too, I called Consumer lending they said to got do FTC.gov and fill out complaint.  These guys have a so called bank account I got money in and its like a bank out of Pennsylvania, they are scams.

They keep calling me too...when you return the call, no one gives you any thorough information. All bs!

Same thing happened, they asked for someone i have never heard of and it was some lady yelling her face off at this person who didn't live here. It woke me up the first time but i unfortunately wasn't able to get to the phone in time to chew her out. Next time, this scammer's in for a rude awakening.

Got a voice message from a San Francisco Bay Area number 415 854 3648 wanting to speak to Marvin Lee (not me or anyone I know) and saying that someone filed charges agains him and that he should call the tool free number 888-323-3224. This is the second time I get this call within one year.

This number called my sister asking for my husband. Demanding an address & saying there were some charges against him. It was some woman named Veronica Watson, she also claimed to have papers to serve my husband as well. its all bs!!

I got a call also from some person named Veronica Watson.. not sure if it was male or female though.. because the person sounded like they were on steroids. It was trying to server me papers. Whatever it was made no sense and sounded like a total idiot. I had to hang up before i died of laughter. Then this moron called back and left a message i couldn't even understand.. it was screaming into the phone... like that really helped. Whatever or whoever it was.. lacked any sense of being professional. So i'm not going to even bother.. i'll just forward it to the AG and all the other agencies that deal with psycho telemarketers.

They called my parents number looking for my Husband's ex wife!

Called back and my father was told he would be given no information.

Are these people hacking cell phone too?? The only place she would have their number is in her cell...

my family members got phone calls from them too. they are looking for me.  they are saying that they are going to file charges against me and demanding an physical address. thats a bunch of BS. the guy was very unprofessional yelling on the message. does he think i am going to call them after that unprofessional message. HELL NO!!!!!! i put in a complaint with the FTC. So i am not going to worry

I got a call from a man named Mike Cole.. stated he had papers to serve me and charges had been filed against me.  I had no idea what he was talking about and asked for specific information regarding the so-called "papers" and "charges".. He would not give me any information, but was very threatening on the phone.  I told him I had no idea who he was looking for but if he could not provide information I could not help him.  He also gave me this Huntington Mediation phone number and told me to call them with this case#.  I tried calling only to find out the number was disconnected... doesn't sound reputable to me.  He called another time, left a message again with threatening tones and I called this Huntington Mediation again only to get an automated system and although I waited on line I was never forwarded to a "person" to speak with... just more automated garage.  No info, no idea what this is but sure seems like a scam of some sort to me.

I have also reported this Mike Cole person and Huntington Mediation to the FTC... and Attorney General's office.

they called a family member asking if she knew me and they wanted to get in touch with me to serve court proceedings.  they claimed that I used her as a reference. I did not.  When I called i got the same scam info as others saying that I owe a company 710 and If i didn't pay immediately, they would serve me the documents for writing bad checks.
Scary that they are searching for family numbers to harass people.

my work just tolled me today that a very rude man named david hunt called asking for me i was off that day. he said if did not call back at this nummer 888-323-3224 he would show up at my work and it would be a for me. he also gave a seconde nummber 951-234-5240 im a single dad trying my best in life i dont need this if you all are reading this and know some i can call pleas post. to markcar1 and ill look back for your info. i dont have money so any help id be greatfull thanks.

I've got the same call from these people at so call company call...Huntington.  First they said they were going to serve me with paper if I don't pay some kind a loan that I took out in 2010 online.  When I started question them on with whom & the amount...and they even mentioned that I wrote a check for $500.00 thru my old credit union...and they also mentioned if I have this email address (which it was a hotmail account....and that email of mines was no longer valid due to somebody hacked into that acct of mines back in the last 7 yrs).  Then they put me thru a case mgr...name:  Megan...I told her that - I didn't take a loan online using that hotmail acct of mines (no longer exist), and also Im no longer a member of that credit union since almost 7 or 8 yrs ago...and she kept telling me that...if I don't pay up then they will serve me with court paper to appear in court...........I didn't know what to do!  I'm making pymt now on this loan that I have no idea who has my info....and if this is a BIG SCAM thats these people are taking my money along with the rest of them out there!  What do I do & how do I go by getting my $$ back....from these people.  Please help!!!!  I'm a single mom & unemployed..and these people have no right to con people when the economy is bad enough & try to make ends meet.
