- scamenot| 1 replyJames Davis called from cell phone 318-202-9334 claims work for Process Solution to have been hired by company named Huntington to locate me to serve me with court documents I asked for an business telephone # would not give me one or an address.Dwight Stone and John Wilson from Huntington claiming to have been hired by a pay day loan company wanted to collect imediate payment today. BOGUS never heard of or obtained a loan from this company or any other pay day loan. BEWARE OF ANY COMPANY THAT WILL NOT PROVIDE A MAILING ADDRESS WHEN ASKED, I asked for this several times and was told "that they were not allowed for security purposes". I imediatley called FTC and have filed a complaint. I also requested a new credit report and placed a fraud alert on name and social, this company had the last 4 of my social, then again who doesnt these days.

- notalone| 1 replyThe call came to my place of employment, they asked for my boss and they told my boss I needed to be served with papers. My boss game me the number and stated they sounded like it was important. I called and they would not give me information unless I provided my social security number, name, address and other information. I refused and hung up, they called my job again the next day. Needless to say I could loose my job due to all these calls I am receiving, I need my job and do not need someone calling and demanding to speak to me. They do not want to provide any information to me unless I give out my personal information.

- Your Name replies to notaloneThese all appear to be scammers; they are required by law to provide you a Debt Validation Letter. If not, you don't have to talk to them.
A cluster of debt collectors in California operating in an identical manner were busted by the FTC in October 2011:

- Bob777 replies to maddThey use "phone spoofing" which allows them to use any area code and phone number to make you think they are local. You can get a phone spoofing calling card for about $5.00 on the internet and see for yourself.
