- JoshReceived fax advertising the same number. Person who answered the phone claimed the name of the company was "5 Star Caribbean Travel" and when I asked about the company he suggested I check out their website at http://5starcaribbeantravel.com.
Despite the website and the "agent's" willingness to provide the company name, this still smells fishy. Not to mention, it was an unsolicited fax advertisement that did not state the company name on it anywhere.
I wouldn't trust them with my money. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.- Caller: 5 Star Caribbean Travel

- getaclue replies to carol pinter| 1 replyLet's see, sending unsolocited faxes is a violation of Federal Law (the Telephone Consumer Proection Act, or TCPA, to be exact). So they violate the law to get "business". If you call stealing money from unsuspecting victims "business" LOL.
And you're asking if they can be trusted? Really, you're asking that? - carol replies to John| 1 replyHas anyone checked this out? I am interested.
- possible shill replies to carolAre you a shill trying to confuse honest people into thinking this is in any way legit, or just a fool? Or both?
- tired of these scams replies to getaclueThis uses up precious ink on my inkjet printer. I knew immediately it was a scam. Just pissed they are using my ink. Please don't fall for any of these. Clarke Howard website explains about these types of scams. He is on radio and CNN.
www.clarkehoward.com - DavidSmithBEWARE! Do not trust this company with your money! To start, they blatantly lied to me by telling me I was going to have a 6 day/5 night all-inclusive stay at the Bahamas for $199/person. They even went as far as telling me the hotel we would be staying in.
Three weeks later, after having chased them around with phone calls and emails, they told me that they don't do the Bahamas but they would try to find a non-inclusive hotel for me. I was naive and trusted them and now I have to figure out how to get my money back as they continue to give me the run around.
This company needs to be stopped!- Caller: 5starcaribbeantravel
- carl replies to Jake Gravesthink its a scam i pd and now i cant get anybody
- Jennifer replies to Jake GravesITS A SCAM!!!!!! I am currently working with a state agency to sue them for my money back. We booked a trip to the Bahamas and never heard from them again. Luckily I recorded all calls and got their information off of facebook. I also reported it too Bank of America. Please report to your bank and they will have them on record anytime they try to withdraw money....
- Paul HowardCalled and spoke to a guy named Jayson after getting a fax at work. He promised a trip to a 5 start hotel resort in Hawaii with all expenses paid for my wife and I to go on our honeymoon. I paid for the 2 of us and now all I get is a total runaround. I bought airline tickets and now have no place to stay. This guy Jayson lied about everything and now I am trying to borrow from family so we can go away this summer. We really go ripped off!!!

- Devin DuPreeI purchased a package from 5 Star Caribbean Travel and it felt kind of weird because they told me that I wouldn't get any information mailed to me because it would all be electronically sent. Well I tried to contact them the weekend that I purchased the deal and there was no answer. Automatically a red flag went up because travel agencies are always open on Saturdays! I spoke to a man named KJ on that Monday who claimed to be the General Manager. He assured me that they were legit and offered me a free trip to Orlando or Vegas and $10 off my purchase to prevent me from canceling. I even have the document with my confirmation numbers and receipt of payment. KJ gave me his # which is now disconnected (954-780-5131), I've even sent emails to support@5starcaribbeantravel.com and no one has responded since I paid them. I'm not sure if the fax # even works 888-889-4874 but I'm going to give it a try.
I live in Michigan, who should I contact regarding this matter?- Caller: 5 Star Caribbean Travel
