What is the problem with this people. For months on end, I am inundated with calls which interrupted whatever I was doing at the time. If I blocked your calls, then you should find some one else. Are you punishing me for dare to block your calls? It sounds like it. They are using Bank of America's name so BOA should do something about it. With their resources, it is not hard to stop this nonsense. This should be classified as urban terrorism, and should be dealt with by Home Land Security.- Caller: Bank of America
- norcal residentHarassing hang up calls from BOA. 888-325-6427. Received 5 today alone --- a Sunday.
- Caller: Bank of Ameria
- Sick Of These callsThey call 2 To 3 times a day. Never leave a message.
- caroline| 1 replyReceived a call from this number, identified as BOA, asking for last 4 of my Social, address, etc.
I was actually expecting a call from BOA so foolishly began rattling off info, then stopped, asked what it was in reference to, and was told "once you give me your zip code I can tell you." I asked again and received the same response.
I asked for a call back number, and the one she gave me was, in reality, a legitimate BOA number. But this initial number she called from was not in their registry???
I immediately checked on my accounts with a real BOA officer, and all was well.
BUT....
BEWARE!! I'm still not sure why they called, and it could have very well been much worse than a marketing call.- Caller: Bank of America---so they said
- not a BOA fanBOA calling because I refuse to pay my mortgage until the end of the grace period. They say they have the right to call up to 8 times per day. I just forward the number and my phone never rings.
- Caller: Bank of America
- Call type: Debt collector
- TiredOfMoronCallers replies to carolineThere have NO RIGHT by federal law to call you no more than one, count them, one (1) time per day... period!
Whoever told you they can call up to eight (8) times per day is an absolute liar... end of discussion!
I'm sorry to sound so dramatic in my presentation... but I'm tired of liars. Seems everyone lies about pretty much anything they want to lie about these days if it suits their purpose or furthers their self-serving agenda. To make matters worse, liars think everyone else around them are liars too. I guess misery loves company, and lying makes people paranoid of others doing it to them.
When thinking of a good example, politicians, (especially democrats) come to mind. They lie, become paranoid, and then suspect everyone else of lying too. That's why they seem to want to control everything we all do in life... from the food we eat to the cars we drive, and all points in between.
In short, that BoA rep, if that was indeed who they were, is a blatant liar... again, end of argument. Tell them if they call more than one time per day you will report them to the FCC and the FBI for harassment. Warn them, then make the appropriate call if they continue their multiple daily calling after you've warned them.
Enough said.
