Joey A Jeffrey id#3301 called from 888-325-6438 claiming to be loan servicing for Bank of America.  The trap is that they say you are behind on your credit card or loan payment and then ask for SSN and other personal information.  This is a scam and should be reported to Bank of America and authorities right away.  DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

Jacquelyn from 888-325-6438 called my mom's house asking for me.  She said she was from Bank of America.  I've had the same phone number for 13 years, which B of A has, so I thought it was strange that they'd call my mom's number.  I Googled their phone number and found that the same thing has happened to a number of other people.

The call is from B of A.  If you don't make the payment on the first they will start calling you, even though you have no late charges until the 15th.  I have several properties with BofA over the last six years and this is the first time they have begin calling me.  I never pay until the 10th as I am waiting for rent to be paid on my properties. As far as I am concerned it is harassment, call me when I have not paid on the 15th.  In 40 years I have never been late on a property payment and this pisses me off.  They want to know what day you will make the payment, if at the bank, what location and how payment will be made, can you give us a check number please?  I will refinance with lower rates within the next 90 days and it will certainly not be with Bank of America.  I had actually financed with countrywide and that is how BofA got this account.  They also bought out the credit card account 10 years ago from another company that I have had for 12 years so it is not by choice that I have B of A.  They messed up my checking account for 2 years, they are as efficent as the government, can't get any clearer than that.

The phone number is Bank of America and the grace period till the 15th Is to not receive a late charge just as if u had a business regardless of when your customer pays every month you'll still want your money on the due date u set up. If u loaned money to someone an u wanted your money when u want it back not when they feel like they can pay u when they feel. When u signed the loan u agreed u could pay your bill by the 1st and u signed and dated it. Every busy makes changes and becomes more proactive on collecting their money while still providing the best customer service

This is not a scam. they only ask for the last 4 of your ssn and your mailing address. instead of the last 4 of yoru ssn you can verify something else like the last pmt you made. these calls are because you are late on your payment. and late is the day after its due. start paying your bills on time and the calls will stop

You shouldn't have to verify even the last four on your social security number, unless you yourself called your bank!  Nice try, shill!

I'm not late on my payment and I'm receiving these types of calls as well.  When I call BoA they say everything is ok with all my accounts and when I asked them to look up the number  they stated it was not one of theirs.  So I don't know what the call is about because I am not verifying my info with them point blank period.
