Threatening legal action.  Calling relatives and harassing them also...just because they have the same last name.

Now I am receiving text messages from these people.  Threatening and harassing.

Yep, my ex husband and I finalized our divorce 8 years ago, and he got a call from these people . . . anyone know anything else?  When I call back the number I get recording after recording of different sales pitches.

Called my ex husband of 8 years to tell him to lawyer up, as he is 'attached' to my name.  We haven't had both our names on anything but a long sold house, as far as I can remember.

Got a call from a man who said he needed to talk to my sister about pending "legal action" & he would be in the office for an hour before "going to court".  (That would mean that court would be starting at 4:00 in the afternoon).  I took down his information and passed it on to my sister.   When I looked it up online and discovered that the # is associated with multiple scams, i called back and asked them to remove my number from their list or I would report them to the Better Business Bureau.  The man who answered the phone stammered and stuttered and said that I could call their business liars but that didn't change the fact that I was in big legal trouble (apparently he got mixed up that it was allegedly my sister in trouble, not me).

Call from "Mr Jennings" for NCI (?) demanding Frank Obie call regarding legal action pending against him. Very threatening. Don't know who the hell Frank is or care, just stop calling my number, [***]! If "Frank" (if that's even a real person - doubtful) owes you money or had legal issues, you've committed disclosure to a third party and YOU have now committed a crime...Reporting you to the FCC, Better get a new number now.
