Received text with same script as those above from 1.888.341.3043 and so did my mother - about me to call 1.888.845.1317.
Please search and read the thread for that number too.

There are no old open accounts or delinquencies on my credit reports.

I appreciate Big A’s information on the thread for 1.888.845.1317 (this is the number they want you to call)
and to add to that,
if you ever receive such a call, NEVER say the word “Yes”. If they ask if it is you, just keep asking “who is this and what do you want?” After a few times they hang up, or you do.
And all communication should be via USPS.

Total scam. Leaves voicemail for my relative threatening to call HR dept or go to their work if they don’t call back.
