Rec'd a call at 3:30 PST, left no msg (I was on another line). I pho'd back and got "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line and an agent will be with you shortly."  I waited two minutes while some pretty jazzy techno music played, then hung up.

yea the same to me too its crazy. how do these pple get our #s %&@!

They called trying to sell Internet service, told them I would take it if I could pay them in pennies, they hung up.

I get several calls DAILY from (888) 341-6581.  They never say anything.  If you call back, sometimes somebody mumbles something.  Do not know what person or company is doing this.  How can I make it stop?

Calls me several times a day all times of the day. Never leaves message. Have no idea who it is but I really want them to stop harrassing me

calls me multiple times per day. if this is telemarketing they are breaking the law because i am on the do not call list plus it's a cell phone.

Has called once, no message left. I called the number and like 'Saving Grace' above said previously I got: "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line and an agent will be with you shortly." then I got to listen to some off beat music.  I did not wait the two minutes like Saving Grace did. I am also on a Do not call list and use a cell phone. I hate telemarketers and spammers. If I believed in hell I would wish them eternity there. A bit harsh I know but there should be a way to control the sleazy lowlifes.

Same experience as others of call w/ no message left; caller i.d. shows unavailable.  It's a repeat experience.
Other numbers w/ same mode also have been doing this and show up in this kind of forum so it must be a database that gets passed around.
Am on Do Not Call Registry also. I presume the unavailable i.d. and no message is their way around that.
