Received 4 robo-calls asking me to call this number about my Comcast service. I didn't.

Same thing, but I did return the call, was on hold for 4 mins with music, then silence.  Anyone know what this is?

Got a call with this number set as Caller ID, with the name set to "800 Service", was asked to call back at the same number, it was about "my Comcast account", so "I could continue using Comcast account".
Called back, got an automatic response that has nothing to do with Comcast's usual response. I waited "for the next representative" for a little while and then I hung up.

Got a voice message "about continuing my comcast cable account".  Havent called back.

Were your bill payments late?  It's Comcast trying to get you to pay your bill.

It is Comcast. I have Comcast service and just received a call from there. They were letting me know my bill was late. Which I knew since I'm getting ready to go pay it today. Comcast outsources to other places to take calls for them, especially with their billing.

I disagree that this is comcast.....itot sounds like some woman talking in a trash can that gives a number that doesnt even come up online .....I call BS

I don't have Comcast in my area and they will not stop calling my cell phone.

Just to help ALL of you out, this is a scammer posing as Comcast. If you have a Comcast account, on your phone, the Comcast name will show up. This shows up unavailable. My way of stopping these idiots along with other scammers is to do as I do. I call them, make sure I wait to talk to someone, make them verify my info, which they cannot, then proceed to tell them your with a police dept in your area and have been having complaints at this residence among many others. And if they continue to call they will be charged by federal law enforcement because the investigators are tracking their calls due to them being scammers. The End!
I feel so bad for elderly along with others who are trusting and give them their credit card info so they(scammers) can rob them blind. I pray for these cold hearted evil idiots to be exposed!

I can confirm this as they called me as well.  I instantly called Comcast to see what was going on and they told me that this number has been calling around trying to get your Comcast information.  It is a scam and most likely can lead to identity theft.

Got a call from this number and my mom was stupid enough to answer but nobody said anything and hung up.

This number called and left a prerecorded message to call so they could help me work out payments on my Comcast cable bill. Only problem: I don't have Comcast. Definitely scammers!

Called me twice in one day. Left a message the second time about keeping my Comcast service. I don't have Comcast. Scam!

Got a call about a week ago and ignored it since I knew everything was up to date.  Called the number back just to make sure.  Got a recorded message that I would be transferred and then the call hung up.  Totally a scam!

No ID, left very hard to hear VM about "continuing comcast" that sounded like it was recorded in a tin can in a crowded room, not by an English speaker. Thanks for all the previous reports. I blocked 'em.

It's Comcast, it's legit.  Your bill is late, and they're usually pretty cool about it.

Called them back, on mute.  They said they are the IRS.  WRONG.  IRS would send letters, not call.
