Same here... They called my cell Stated their name clearly but from what company, unclear.  Sounds like of course deliberately mumbled their company so we could call them back.  Speaking of some file of mines.  That's about it.

Called and mumbled something. I hung up.

Could be the debt collector Central Portfolio Control.

The guy who I talked to says he’s try s collect debt from another place I used to stay & that I owe utilities & pest even though utility was through a separate company they claim they sent notices to my current address, when I informed him that never got them he became argumentative and we bickered, literally half the call.. he couldn’t even give me a price break down or give me dates. after I got out of character, I just told him to have another rep call me and before I hung up he said “it’s your problem not mine”. There’s no professionalism, it’s giving scam

They called and said they represented the pedophile Democratic Party, and wanted to know if Hunter had left a bag of white powdery stuff at the restaurant I work at.

When I get calls like this, I start out by asking them for a credit card number.  Then tell them it is $9.99 for the first min and then $4.99 for the next min.  Or just make up your own number.  Once I had one of these [***] give me numbers... I almost ran them.  LoL

So what you are saying is you might become a scammer if tempted enough?
