Scammer calling saying they are an attorney and will face lawsuit .. gave dates of something that was all incorrect info and he yelled at me when I told him the facts that the loan he was talking about was paid in full and thee dates and I have the docs showing the info I could send to him - he hung up. what a joke. Said they were Katz lawfirm.

Keeps calling from a Private/Restricted number but leaves this number on my voicemail. Said he's a process server and I'm getting served with paperwork at my residence. If I need to change the time, location or date of it, I need to call their law firm at 888-381-4543. Then he said "You have been notified". A lot of people would be terrified, but I know this is another jerk trying to scam people out of money with scare tactics.

Received the same call as above. All 0's on my caller ID so I let it go to voicemail! They will try anything!

Called my sister in law looking for us. Claimed there was a lawsuit and gave a case number and this phone to call back. Upon calling back it was clear they were scammers.

Left a voice mail for a A@@@ A**** (not my name) gave me a file number and said that I have been served. As a former process server you can only be served in person. Total scam.

I received the exact message, but they are calling my children too!!! I  just want it to stop  !!!!

They called me too about a debt in 2008 11 years ago they may have found that info but it’s not correct and he wanted 950 from me so I played along and said I’ll give you half 450 and he said ok so then I knew it was a scam do not give them your credit card number

Called me said I am being sued and my wages will be garnished for a debt from 10 years ago. They said I can pay and that a sheriff is coming to serve me. They are operating as a debt collect and using scare tactics.

I was called from the same number and when I tried to see what they were talking about. I told them I do not recall this sir. He stated, no one recall anything when it comes to someone owing money. Then he told me to pay it now or spend 180 days in jail plus the fine. I called my local police department and now they have the information

They also called me saying the exact same thing, Los Angeles County Process Service Dispatch Department. 3 calls will be made, a signature is required, if you need to change time, date or location of delivery please contact legal firm (no name given) at 1-888-381-4543. They left a case #, and ended voicemail saying you have been "notified".

You have been notified - of a scam.  It is illegal to claim to be a government employee!  www.consumerfinance.gov

Claimed to be a law office based in Cali and would not give me any office information or other identifying information. Reported a complaint against this suppose phone number which I know is a scam.

Called for my husband and said that this was the final attempt to notify, we need to contact the "issuing agency" at this number 888-381-4543 or we will have a failure to appear.  They left a case number.  They called my phone as well.  I suspected a scam right away... We don't have any court cases proceeding! They look at your credit and if you've  ever had a past debt judgment (which we have)  they try to play like something is still going on with that to scare you into paying  money.
