What was it in reference to?

They stating they were calling regarding student loans and  the possibility of a student loan forgiveness.

I have no student loans. Called regarding my student loans payments.

Said to call her at 888 392-4478 . Her agent number is 4968 ref number ☆☆☆☆☆. The number she called from was 717 417-2544. Gave me till Friday to pay. lol I have no out standing loans (student).

Just called number 888-392-4477 saying urgent need to call back and it’s been extended till Friday. It’s only a recording that tells you nothing and the voice mail box from the number that actually called is full. SCAM!!!!!

She left a detailed message with very clear diction until she got to the reason for the call. She said it very quickly one time.  I listened to it numerous times, unable to understand. She said, “Smuh-loans.” Literally! I guess the word loans was supposed to make me panic and call back. Not.

This is the Beta transcript from the call about “student loans”....I think that’s what she spurred out.   I am almost 50 years old and have never had a student loan before in life. SCAM!!

Same exact the same voicemail same #s on everthing

Same exact message. How can we all get the same reference number. Tried calling back; number not in service. I wanted to mess with them. I'm 61 yrs. old and have never taken out any student loans.

I got the same thing everyone else has listed here.  I tried to call the number back and got a recording saying the number has been disconnected.   I know I don't have any student loans either.

I believe the number to call back at is set up to see both who is gullible enough to call back and likely does have student loan debt that can be leveraged against you to get you to pay them. I made the mistake of calling the 888 number, got the message saying it's out of service. A day or so later, not only did a construction company text me about a missed call, but another voicemail was left claiming they were giving me one more chance before they filed charges against me and that I needed to call a social security office at the provided number...
