I received a couple calls from this number.  He said he was calling from Dell computers because my computer was sending them error messages and was I aware of this. I told him computer was fine and hung up.  I don't usually answer calls without id but I had been talking to the real Dell recently so expected they may call back.  However, when they do call, they identify themselves with event id numbers etc.so I knew it wasn't them.  So I looked up the number and found this site.  I will block that number.

This is a carbon copy of what Sharon said, they knew what my problem was how much I paid for the new computer and it was almost the exact same time Dell was supposed to be calling to solve my problem so I fell for it and it cost me, first time in 21 yrs I got scammed. Beware of 1-888 numbers and my phone will say Dell along with the number they're calling from....Paul.

Same here....SCAM!  How do we stop them??!!!  :{

+1 888-392-9630 this number called as a Dell rep n they were getting error msgs from my computer, wanted me to get online right then to check for viruses.
