Received call stating that they are a company called Dorado Capital. The man left a message wanting to verify my social security number; stating that an action had been committed and that I needed to call ASAP. Anyone receiving calls from this number; beware.

I also received a series of calls from 888-405-0457 indicating that there was a situation involving my social security number.

I recieved two calls as well regarding an action against my SS#.  The second message said if I did not call back it would be considered non-compliance.  It is a scam!!!!!

This is a low budget debt collector out of Broward County, Florida, you can Google their Craigslist Ad and see what a joke they are and the type of scum they hire. Do not even answer their call, I have filed a complaint against them with our State's Attorney General office and I have been informed that this company does not have a license to operate in any state. They also use 888-405-0459, beware this company is operating illegally and they will soon be shut down. All of the agents are using alias names which is against federal law.

this company called my mom looking for me, saying that I needed to pay a debit befor a sherrif comes wtfff and wants to get an attorney involved. what a joke. sad part is, I lost my SS# card sooo yea smh

Received a call from them yesterday. I asked them did they have a website and where are they located.  As they were giving me the information, I googled them and came upon this website and it is a scam just like I suspected. I don't know why they thought they were speaking to somebody stupid but guess what, I have got something for them whenever they call back.

So you mean if someone posts something on this site it is automatically true? I looked Dorado Capital up and they are licensed to collect. I think I better rely on better information the this site. Regardless my attorney is looking into this. Hopefully because this payday loan is over a couple years old I wont have to pay much....FML

I also got a phone call on 2-5-13  stateding that i owe  a loan for ace which i do and that he was going to serve papers and that i will be going on trail for check fraud which i didnt write a check if u get a call from these  folks please dont give them any info because they are a scam

Dorado Capital are scammers they said i owed money for a title loan and when i told them i have never taken one out they told me that i wrote them bad check and i was going to jail for fruad if i dont pay and that i am a no good low life who dont ever pay my bills.  So i made a complaint with the FTC  so hopefully they will get shut down soon. I encourage any one and everyone to file a complaint about the company so that they can get  shut down.

Today I received a phone message from a man named Mr. Weisler at Dorado Capitol, indicating he was investigating one of my family members. When I called the number back (888) 782-9010, I was transferred to this man and he indicated they my son had received a pay day loan back in 2009 and the client had indicating they were going to file suit against him. When I questioned him further he indicated he could settle the account today, he further provided my sons previous place of business and an old cell phone number. I immediately informed my daughter-in-law since my son is out of town on business. She investigated further and found that this is a scam. These sleazy people even provided a case number.  The part that gave him away was his insistence that he could settle the account today, and he wanted me to provide my sons personal information so he could contact him directly.  People, be very aware of the information you have on Facebook or any other social media sites.  These low life, bottom feeders are everywhere!!!

i received the same phone call stating that i took out a payday loan back in 2009 and was going to take me to court.  when they left me a message they stated if i did not call them back they were sending someone to my home and work at 3 p.m.  i called them and they stated i took this loan out on Dec 30th and that it went into an account, which they would not give me but they asked me if my date of birth is correct.  he wanted to verify information and i told him i would not.  i wanted some kind of proof, they stated they would send me information via email.  i did get a letter just stating that i owed them 780.00 but we could settle, i would have to call 877-917-0112.  i am trying to do some kind of research and can not come up with anything.

I received a call stating I owed a payday loan from 2007 and if it was not paid today I would get served with papers and arrested and extricated to TX. This is nothing but a scam, they got our bank info and withdrew money Nd hopefully the bank can stop it from happening anymore. Everyone beware with calls like this. The police are on the way here to file papers and I pray to God that they bank can manage to stop payment and get the money back. Don't ever believe when something like this comes overe the phone and always check with the police. I have been a nervous reck all day crying my eyes out not knowing what to do because I didn't even live in the country in 2007. It's amazing how much [***] people can cause with very little info, they try to get you to feed them info nd wn't directly answer anything. Don't fall for is!
