- Mr R| 27 repliesI got a fishy looking pink card in my snail mail box that directed me to call this number about my mortgage. It referenced both my name and the name of my actual mortgage company, and said it was an urgent issue to call them about my mortgage. This looks pretty shady and scammy! I didn't call!
- Call type: Unwanted
- No Fool| 6 repliesI got the same fishy pink card. It just had to many red flags for me to actually call the number.
1. it is a post card. no legit company would send anything about a mortgage with account numbers, not any of my account numbers, on a post card.
2. No return address.
3. no reference to any company name.
4. I do not even have a mortgage.
This is why I had to google the number.- Call type: Scam suspicion

- Randy| 1 replyI got a yellow card in the mail regarding the same info as listed above. Since no one else would call, I did call the 888 number. They are trying to sell Loan Insurance. Its an automated phone tree that asks multiple questions, they want your personal information so they decide how best to scam you. ( Selling you insurance that doesn't exist or just selling your personal information) The info on the card they sent is a total scam. Who does that? They are looking for suckers who will pay them anything.
- Caller: Loan Insurence

- George replies to Peppa| 2 repliesMy card is pink, purports to come from my bank about a mortgage I have "recently closed". "This is time sensitive" so that apparently call this number without checking on it. I'm taking it up with my bank, and if necessary, the local postmaster (for possible mail fraud) the first thing in the morning.
