I got a call from someone claiming to be a process server in NC. They were looking for someone I have never heard of. First of all, I am familiar with the law and a process server does not say things like this. In fact they don't call ahead! At any rate it told me to call this number to speak to an attorney and gave me a case number.  The case number is not a legitimate NC court number. I called to tell them they had the wrong number and it was the same guy who had left the message and when I called him out on what he was doing he hung up.  BE CAREFUL!!! In this case they were looking for someone else but if they are looking for you DON'T PAY these folks!! A) They can't hurt you and B) they can't put you in jail. C) they are not coming to your work.  Yes, I am an attorney!

I just got a message asking me to call this number. I was told that they have a case against me in Riverside CA. They had my name and address. I was told I was being served, no one has shown up. As we do small claims in my office we have access to the court system. The case number they have against me was not a valid case number. When I called the number I left a VM for a company called Brackman Mendelburg and Ass. After putting the name in google I saw that the company name was registered only a month ago. Can anyone tell me if this is a valid company.

I was contacted by a man who Identified himself as Connor. He was courteous for the most part. He didn't threaten me... I told him In 2010 I was desperate and broke I took a loan that over drafted my bank account. The interest was excessive. I borrowed $900 that turned into over 2000. I asked for documentation he sent it to my email as well a reduction if I agreed to pay. Before I paid I did a check with the better business bureau they are a legitimate company in NY. Conner was very professional with me and helped me out of a bad situation

I received a call from them at my place of business. The guy was very courteous and polite. However when I contacted the online payday loan company that he said he was collecting for they informed me that I never took out a loan with them.

Nothing came up when I did a search on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) site.

These companies for old payday loans have a reputation of changing names, numbers and addresses very frequently. Probably because people keep complaing about the to the Attorney Generals of their states.

Received multiple calls from this number - first person claimed to be a "Thomas Fish" from "David Coleman and Associates".  The next day it was "Mr. Sanderson" from Brackman something or other....  Finally called the number back to see what exactly they think I owe (and to politely tell them to "shove it").  I spoke with "Mr. Sanderson" who said it was for an HSBC line of credit...  their account # was 1 digit off from the HSBC account I had (which was paid in full years ago). The guy was actually quite pleasant while I played along, though he stuttered when I asked where he was calling from and their location.  When I asked him to please send all documentation relating to this matter via certified mail, he went off the deep end and got totally belligerent and said that the phone call was admissible evidence towards the default judgement they are going to get from me since I am dodging service. Then he just said "good luck" and hung up on me.  LOL  Another shady debt collector who seemingly is trying to collect on debts that aren't even legitimate.  I hope someone get them in court and they get destroyed.

Mr fish service the summons at my house after I signed the paperwork he insisted that I hold his ballz for 30sec, I'm 5,6 and he was 6,4 and muscular. What was I to do? He then backed me into the bathroom then forced me to wash them. After his nuts were clean and dry I held them. needless to say I'm going to pay my bills from now on.
