got 2 messages saying a card from a credit union I don't have an account at saying my card is on "hold."

I got the same message, same credit union. What do they want?

Said my Card starting with 4*** has been de-activated and requests that I call this number.

HAVE the exact same message!  Called my Carrier and complained.  Everyone do the same.  Same 4626 credit hold.  Giant Scam.
Recomend everyone call their carriers and file a complaint.  Best way to stop it.

Got the same text message and I DO NOT have a card starting with the 4*** number they gave me - sounds like a scam! Kinda odd because most companies will give you the LAST 4 numbers of the card, not first 4. Actually called the number from a land line. It rang then there was just silence. Boo.

I got one also. I called my carrier and reported it. Thanks to all who posted!

Hello guys, it seems they are the same scammers from here https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-376-2088  with "put on hold" "call us at for" "deactivated card" . I have seen this annoyng msg on that link so are the same ppl.
Never any bank will send u such messages

I got same msg like u guys but for me isnt anything new, i got same message from XXX  credit unions every week about an 'deactivated card' and 'call us at' "cards starting with" or urgent or anything else. Dont wory  about those messages they are reported to Internet crime and FBI.
those scammers better to get a job instead of losing their life for rip ppl of few k's dollars.

I received one call on my cell phone over the weekend from this number.  I called back and it was busy.  It must be a scam, but don't want any more calls!

When you say report to your carrier do you mean my cell phone provider?

I tried calling the number to find out five minutes after I received the text message that the number has been disconnected, weird.

My text told me to activate a card that does not exist @ 877 774 5325 that number is a business that fixes plumbing or some such thing.
It was from notice@vzwpix.com no phone number.
