angry caller

Get calls from this number (888-414-2103) numerous times a day on my cellphone. They calling every other minut and not leaving any voicemail. How can I stop it?

Caller left message purporting to look for a person with our last name (with a different first name). Message said to call 888-414-2103, ext. 2533. I was dumb enough to think it was important, so called back to inform them the person they were looking for was not at this number. As soon as that information was conveyed, they hung up, very quickly, no details. Persons at  this phone number were very short of words, unprofessional in manner.

I had the EXACT same thing happen to me last night. The call was a recording and asked for Catherine with my same last name.  No such person here, so I clicked on the option 'this is not Catherine (my last name).  Then it said 'it is important that you have Catherine (my last name) call this number immediately.'  So I called them and said there is nobody here by that name stop cal...and he cut me off and said we will take your number off of our list.

What they do is call everyone in your phone city's book with the same last name as yours, hoping to get a 'bite', or you will say, yea dude, that's my cousin, let me give you her number'.  People are actually stupid enough to give this info out, so this is why they harrass people in this way.  Let's just say that I know for a FACT that this is the way these collection agencies operate.  They have -0- scruples..all they care about is getting their money...don't care how ugly they are, don't care how much they bother us, just do not give a damn...bottom line is money.

I received a call from this number as well. As I was talking to the woman on the other end of the line, I hear a knock on a wooden door on her end. I am pretty sure this is a scam and the caller was sitting in some random room.

Missed a call from this number - so I called back. The woman that answered said that she was with a collection agency but that she wanted to verify all of my information before she told me who she was collecting for. That shouldn't be second rate information. If any collection agency wants to be taken seriously you have to say who you are collecting for or you will seem like a fraud. Which is exactly of what I think of LTD Financial.

This number keeps calling when I'm at work and unable to answer. They never leave a voice message so it cannot be that important...

Debt collector scam...calls out of the blue!

This LTD Financial has called me multiple times and I have never answered... they never leave a message!  After reading the comments here I realize they are just scammers!  Glad I don't answer!

McAfee renewal scam.  Says activation completed for $499.99.  Reply email address is not McAfee.
