Claims to be Microsoft Support who has gone out of business and owes me a refund.  Wants me to connect to a webpage to give them information online.

Scammer leaving this message -
"We are calling to refund your money as the company has been order to close down please call us on our toll free number 1-888-414-2430. Repeat it again 1-888-414-2430. Thank you."

called but left no message. caller id just read 800 service.

Don't really care who it is or isn't as I block all toll free callers. Per other posters it appears to be another fake Microsoft scam.

Just received a recorded call from this number saying the same thing that everyone has posted.  Scam.

Microsoft has closed down, and they want to refund my maintenance contract.  I've never had one.  Thick indian accent s, very loud boiler room noise.

I have blocked these "microsoft impersonators" are couple of time.   Don't even pick up the phone.  Theses jokers only want your credit card info. I have to laugh because I have don't even have microsoft. One more thing they like to chg up what numbers they use. lol

Called to schedule regular monthly check up of computer, I had supposedly signed up for at a charge of $29.95 per.month automatically charged to credit card.  When told I didn't sign up for service I was told that the only way I could cancel was by computer ,- and was asked to turn it on to receive cancellation form which was to be signed.  When I  refused and ased for a mailing detailing information I was being given, person became belligerent saying that was the only way I could cancel.

Called twice today with recording wanting me to call back. Stating Microsoft went out of business and wants to refund money.

Recorded voice saying, "Hello. My name is Kathy Jackson..."
Hung up. Scam.

A recording saying I have a refund.  Never trust a recording.

They called said I bought tech support a few months ago and the company went out of business. "Microsoft tech support". When I called the number they answered Microsoft refund department.  I hung up.

Left message but call would not go through. Scammer
