I'm perplexed why I received a junk fax from this company considering I'm in Houston, Texas and the company appears to be located in New Jersey!

Consumers, if you've received a junk fax you're entitled to between $500 and $1500 damages, and it's remarkably easy to file a suit in small claims court. The problem is that the business owner must be officially served, and these fly-by-night business owners put great effort into obfuscating their location and identity. Although you probably can't collect any damages, you do have a fairly powerful tool available to you: the power of the negative review! Once business owners learn that junk faxes generate more negative reviews than qualified leads, they'll cease using junk faxes.

Business owner, your contract with the fax broadcasting company is unenforceable because the service is illegal. If you file a dispute with your debit / credit card you will probably get your money back.

Junk fax from Protech Your Roof.  "John" answers the phone.  Gave phony website address and gave instagram of Protechroofing101 which appears to be in New Jersey.  Gave business address of 9941 Harwin Dr, Houston Tx. which I believe is false.

We get lots of spam faxes, and this is one that just came in today.  Research has proved this to be a scam in 3 areas, first by their name, second by their phone number, and third by their alleged membership in  National Roofing Contractors Association.
