Came up as a support number on a new Roku device during activation when activation code failed. Still not sure how the number came up on a screen ON THE ROKU DEVICE (though I did use a Google link to the supposed Roku activation page)? Polite man with thick Indian accent told me there was a $75 registration fee to activate my device. I politely said no and asked how to send the device back for a refund. He told me to contact the person I purchased the device from (he insisted I must have gotten it from a third party). I got it from Roku directly, so that made me realize maybe something wasn't legit. After ending the call, instead of making a scathing review of Roku's "bait and switch" tactics to get a "registration fee" out of me, I did a Google search and found out scammers use a fake activation website. Still don't understand how they access the device, as I used a number that was displayed on my TV screen, but regardless, when I typed in the roku activation address directly into my browser, it went through just fine. For free :)  Beware, folks! I thought I was un-scammable!
