- DeeThis company are SCAMMERS - they call and tell you they're from "windows" and your computer has been hacked, make you download their software then LOCK your computer and make you pay to have it unlocked. Waste their time if they call but DO NOT download anything. When I told the guy (after 10 mins of wasting his time) that I know he's a con artist tryign to scam me and he told me to "f*ck my mother'. lol. Obviously legit.

- smarter than he wasI receive one of thhese calls today. Wanted me to input www care141.com I would evade his answers. got him to terminate the phone call. Called him later and hung up. He called me back wanting to know why I called. I told him I was looking for his scam when CLICK.
- BrittI got a call from these guys today too. Tried to get me to click on a link on their website www.care141.com. I kept telling him I needed some way for him to prove who he was and he (progressively more rudely) told me I would see it with my own eyes as soon as I clicked on the Red R after connecting to the website. I finally got irritated enough that he connected me to his 'supervisor', who started giving the same speech about receiving alerts from my computer that were from hackers. While she continued her rant, I googled the phone number and found this page. I informed her I was aware that the call was a scam and she hung up.

- wackerJust off the phone from one of these scammers and he tried www.ammyy.com first and I told him that there was a message on the front page warning about people phoning people about downloading software from their site and if you do they will have control over your computer. Then we went to www.care141.com I told him that it was not an legit site since the real site is www.techcarezone.com and they would use that domain name in any address. He hung up.

- me-no-connectI got a call just like Britt had described. Realizing what kind of call it was I stayed on the line with them to 'run their clock'. I also got transferred to the 'Supervisor', obviously working off the same script as Britt's call. (LOL) After wasting 15 minutes of their time, they finally realized that I was NOT going to connect to their 'care141.com' site and hung up. During the call I found this information on 'care141.com'. Thanks for posting this.

- mikecalled today saying i had virus saying he was a windows engineer and would check my pc for viruses as it had been hacked i asked if it was free , he said yes but if i needed fixing would be £99 lol kept him talking for 15 mins trying me to get me to download same software eventually got board and hung up he rang back 3 times then but left him hanging.... fools .
- BrianI got the same call saying he was from Microsoft and I had a virus and had been infecting others and that I could go to the care141.com site and they would fix it and also speed up my computer. Sounded good so I went to the site and when I clicked the AAYY (RED) display, my Internet Security program blocked the site. The guy tried to get me to ignore it and download/run the file anyway. I said no and that he should give me his name/number and I would call him back.....he said his name was Allen and gave a quick 881 something, something.....Isaid repeat that number and he hung up....Also,I could hear a ton of people in the background doing the same thing he was doing....This really pissed me off.
