I got a call around the time dinner time as is the case with tele-marketers and scammers.
The caller said he was calling from ISM Canada - www.ismcanada.com and claimed my home computer has been sending out my personal information and they've been hired by the Government of Canada to correct this. He tried to get me to go to my computer where I suspect he would have me log in and hand over control remotely.
He quoted an I.P. address in the format I.P. address are not listed. He was very persistent even when I asked for his contact info where I would have an I.T. professional call him to confirm.
The very next day when I tried to call the # 1-888-420-4206 there was a message that the phone # has been changed and to get the new # there would be a cost of $2.95.
Even the website address doesn't check out...be aware.
