It's a scam that is still active (10/15/2019), don't call

My sis in law got a call. .said it was.from one financial. ..for my son...he doesn't know her number or last name and no way have they ever been connected. .they said it was imperative  and there are.legal documents. ..they gave a case #.....sounds like a scam to me

Guy sounded half drunk and left a voicemail stating that a "file with my name was placed with their office" and that it was a time sensitive matter that I needed to contact them immediately about.  That being said, they used a spoofed number to contact me and the message was asking for me with my married name which I haven't used in 14 years, so whatever this call was about was some bs scam.

This is a scam, do not answer or reply back to this number.  They texted me with a case number as well, and when I returned the call and gave them the case number, they gave me a false name of "Helen Davis." If it were a legitimate organization, you'd think they'd take the time to get their information correct.  I'm letting everyone know it is a scam and I will be reporting them to the FTC and contacting my attorney general.

They are texting with a case number saying it is from Western location services.  Telling to call the number to prevent further escalation.  I am getting so tried of this stop.  Now their texting it is getting out of control.

You should be reporting those texts to both the FTC and your State Attorney General and then you should be forwarding them to 7726 so that carriers will block them.

yes I have these people calling me texting me won't stop I looked up a number is no such thing as some of that Financial to handling the legal matter they can kiss my behind

they are even texting family members with the same text message they are sending me.

This is a scam!!! I called and some lady answered and she said she couldn’t help but Emma could. And we asked what’s her last name and she took 4 seconds to answer and said Watson. And then she said that Emma Watson was on a mediation and couldn’t talk to us but to call back. So we did and the same lady answered and we asked for Emma Watson and she said I am Emma. What the heck!!! & she started saying how I owe 2,000 on a debt! My debt is way lower than that but “Emma” said that it went up because of fees!!  I called the original creditor and they gave me the agency that has my debt and I called and I asked them if they had my account with them and they said yes!!! And I told her what happened with this fake company and she said that I was trying to get scammed!! She said to block this number!!!
