called my mother saying they had a subpoena for breach of contract and the fraudulent use of a check from a payday loan i supposedly took out in 2005 and the judge was going to issue a warrant for failure to appear. what a joke. said they were from united law in phoenix arizona, when i googled the while they were on the phone and asked the man why they were not on the web at all he said they were working on a a website. what a joke

Same here, they called me and said i have to go to court for some payday loan. I asked questions and finding out they were scaming me that they got all of info. Which anybody can get......This is a scam!

My parents got a message from this # as well on 7/29/11--stating they had court documents for me. Why did they call my parents instead of me?? I do not know.  Anyways I waited until I new the office was closed and I called the # they left and got "Thank you for calling United"......I took out a payday loan back in 2009 and just paid it off 3 months ago (boy wasn't that a relief!!) I called on my last payment and everything was cleaned and closed out--no further payments were confirmed to be made.  I do not know why they are calling now--this does seem like a scam. I will not be calling the # again when they are open. My parents advice was to just forget they called and pretend like nothing happened--they think its a trick to get more $ out of you--if you paid off the loan it should not be a problem now. If it was legit, they should be contacting me directly rather than my parents......

First I received a voicemail saying they were trying to serve me court documents and left the 1888.430.1093. I called back and a woman told me that there was a warrant for my arrest unless I paid $240 for a payday loan I allegedly took out in 2007 told me the phone call was being recorded and unless I paid them they were gonna procced with legal action. I call my atty general who tells me 1st that payday loans are illegal in my state (NC) so there will be no warrant for my arrest. I call them back and tell the lady that and she says I never said u had a warrant just that one would be issued against you.. then I ask where they are located and some type of proff that they have my debit. I was then transfered to a legal advisor who starts screaming when I keep catching her in lies and tells me they will take me t court and hung up on me.  Oh by the way they claimed they were United and Assoc. when I asked for the company name and when I said I tried to look you up on the web and found nothing they claimed it was because they just moved to AZ.
